We will be performing on Saturday 7th Sep at Warhorns summer fest

The venue for Warhorns Late Winter and Late Summer Fests is Drax Sports Club, which is adjacent to Drax Power Station between Goole & Selby in Yorkshire. The band room is indoors inside the venue. As well as the band room, the venue also features an award- winning restaurant/bar as well as a camping area with 24-hour access to proper toilets. There are likewise proper showering facilities accessible from between 7am and 11pm.

*Note the showers are communal (but gendered). So if you’re shy, bring a swimming costume. The venue is open for breakfast from 8am and closes at midnight, with last orders generally being around 11:30pm.

Drax offers onsite camping. This is not your typical festival camping, it is a proper camping area that is also used by the public and contractors that work at the Power Station, and is therefore subject to industrial noise regulations. Consequently, there must be rules in place. No open fires (BBQs), no glass bottles and a strict 1am noise curfew. Both the campsite and venue are monitored by 24-hr security. Furthermore, we expect everyone to tidy up after themselves.

All our tickets are sold via our bigcartel store. These are mostly E-Tickets and you’ll need a copy of your paypal receipt to collect your wristband and gain entry.

Furthermore, camping tickets have to be purchased separately (also via bigcartel), they simply sell them on behalf of Drax to make things easier.

Can I bring my dog? Yes - dogs are welcome on the camping field and in the outside seated areas, however they’re not permited inside any of the buildings.

Frequently asked questions. Can I bring my kid? Yes - There are no age restrictions. Under 18s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Under 14s get in for free but must be accompanied by a paying adult (1 Adult to 2 under 14s)
